Dr Heather Taylor is a Chartered Psychologist with extensive expertise in empirical research across academic, clinical, and industrial settings. With a PhD in cognitive neuropsychology, she has expertise in human behaviour, cybersecurity, and the psychological aspects of human-AI. At Frazer-Nash Consultancy she is lead of Applied Human Sciences, a team of behavioural scientists and human factor specialists, where psychological principles are integrated with human-centred design to address the complexities of modern systems.
Her leadership spans diverse sectors including defence, energy, and transport, where she has led numerous human-centred projects. Her research interests are wide-ranging and include the ethics and psychology of artificial intelligence (AI), culture and behaviour change, cyber-security behaviours, and the enhancement of human and team performance. Heather is an active participant in high-level discussions on AI ethics and trust, including contributions to round table discussions with Tech UK and RUSI, and speaking engagements at national conferences. She strives to continue to shape the integration of psychology into interdisciplinary research, advancing both theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
