Why Interchange

What we’re about
Interchange is the only event that sets out to bring together major transport infrastructure clients, transport authorities and the infrastructure design, construction and asset management supply chains from all the major transport modes - road, rail, maritime and aviation.

100 seconds on Interchange and the opportunity it creates
Fostering collaboration
We believe in the power of collaboration, systems thinking, and dismantling long-standing silos. Our content informs, challenges, explains and entertains and for 2026 is built around four core themes that highlight the connections between transport infrastructure and place, energy, digital & data, and the environment.
Interchange is about shifting the conversation and fostering collaboration among a diverse group of infrastructure professionals — from across transport, energy property and telecoms — who are collectively committed to creating integrated and intelligent transport systems that benefit society, the economy, and the environment.
A dynamic community
We are about breaking down siloes and challenging the orthodoxy to ensure that we have a transport system that enables us to meet our, society’s and the planet’s needs as we transition to a net zero economy.
It’s our ambition that Interchange becomes more than just an event - think of it as a dynamic community of infrastructure designers, builders, operators, placemakers, and technologists who are passionate about creating positive change.
Now in its third year, Interchange has already proven it can deliver on this ambition. As one delegate put it “This was the right conference at the right time”. You can see more testimonials here
