John joined DfT as director for regions, cities and devolution in 2020, having worked across a number of government departments including the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Ministry of Justice. And before becoming a civil servant John worked for the legendary Ministry of Sound in South London, as editor of Ministry magazine.
