The A417 Missing Link showcase: Delivering a major project against the Cotswold landscape

Kier will present an insight into the A417 Missing Link landscape-led highways scheme that will deliver a safe and resilient free-flowing road while conserving and enhancing the special character of the Cotswolds National Landscape. The A417 provides an important route between Gloucester and Swindon, connecting the Midlands/North to the South of England, as part of the project we’re constructing 4 miles of new dual carriageway, as well as associated works.

You’ll get an introduction to the scheme, how a landscape-led design approach has shaped the project and supporting with planning, how Kier has used digital tools to enable collaborative decision-making and smarter project delivering and how digital quality processes are improving assurance, consistency and efficiency.
