Chris Hillcoat
Associate Director, Future Mobility, KPMG
Chris is a geographer and transport planner, with expertise in customer behaviour change, travel demand management, active and sustainable travel, and the use of digital tools. He works in KPMG’s Future Mobility team, advising clients on topics around digital ticketing, MaaS, behaviour change and the future of travel. In 2020-22 he led the development of the Breeze MaaS platform for Solent Transport, which pioneered the UK’s first multi-city MaaS application, and was also accountable for Solent Transport’s Future Transport Zone work in personal mobility, including micromobility, DRT and smart ticketing. From 2008 to 2019 he worked at Transport for London where he was involved with projects from the 2012 Olympic Route Network, to the design and guidance of the new generation of Cycle Superhighways through central London, and a senior manager in the Travel Demand Management team pioneering the use of data and analytics.
