Interchange opens bursary programme for early-stage tech firms to attend in 2026
Interchange has launched a new bursary scheme aimed at tech start-ups and small businesses with fewer than 10 employees and under £1m annual turnover, offering subsidised access to Interchange’s new innovation showcase.
Now entering its fourth edition, next year’s Interchange event is expected to attract more than 3,000 delegates, including at least eight Combined Authorities and senior decision-makers from major transport operators such as National Highways, Network Rail, major airports including both Heathrow, Gatwick, and several leading UK ports. The bursary provides an exceptionally strong route to market for emerging companies looking to gain visibility with both public- and private-sector clients.
Endorsed by both ITS UK and techuk, the bursary offers selected start-ups a place within Interchange’s Start-Up Innovation Lounge, which includes stand space and access to presentation slots where founders can pitch their solutions to potential customers or investors over the two-day event.
The cost is £750, significantly lower than the standard entry-level exhibition rate of £4,000, making it an affordable route for small firms to participate in the annual showcase.
Companies interested in being considered for the bursary should contact Andrew Dowding at Andrew.dowding@meetingsofminds.co.uk by 12 December.
