Sam Rose is the Director for Data and Advanced Analytics, and Head of Profession for OR and Data Science at the Department for Transport.
As a senior leader working in data and AI, in the UK Government she has led various award-winning teams and programmes delivering decision support to operations, Brexit planning and the COVID response.
She currently leads an innovative cross functional team working to ensure transport data is valued, accessible and at the heart of decision making, and to embed the use of AI in our sector.
