Iain Anderson is Managing Director at Colas Rail, bringing more than 30 years’ experience as a civil engineer and business leader across the construction and rail sectors. Since joining Colas Rail in 2012 as Head of Tendering and Business Development, he has played a central role in securing major programmes including the £400m Wessex Alliance and the Midland Metro Alliance. As the first Alliance Director, he helped establish the organisation delivering a £1.3bn, 10-year light rail expansion in the West Midlands. He later joined the Executive Committee and now leads Colas Rail’s urban and light rail activities in the UK.
