The imminent launch of the Integrated National Transport Strategy marks an important milestone in transport policy, providing an opportunity for industry to re-think how we plan, deliver, and operate transport and mobility services to deliver truly integrated end-to-end journeys that reflect today’s needs, and provide real modal choice.

MaaS was a first attempt at integrating transport through a digital overlay but lacked the policy, regulatory, physical, commercial, and service integration needed to make integrated transport a reality, and only focused on passenger travel.
