John Glass
Director of Infrastructure and Projects, Translink
John is Translink’s Director of Infrastructure & Projects. Since becoming Director in 2018, he has led delivery of major rail, bus, property, and regeneration programmes across Northern Ireland, including the flagship Belfast Grand Central Station and Weaver Cross Regeneration projects. He spent 20+ years at McLaughlin & Harvey working across marine, harbour, rail, road, bridge, and energy projects, culminating in his role as Civil Engineering Director. John was appointed Chair of the Northern Ireland region of the Institution of Civil Engineers in September 2019 currently chairs Alpha Housing Association.
