Partnership Manager, Moors for the Future Partnership
Matt leads the Moors for the Future Partnership (MFFP). He is an Ecologist by training with 20 years’ experience in nature conservation, peatland restoration, and partnership working. Matt has developed expertise in convening, fostering and delivering effective collaborations for nature recovery and nature based solutions. He initiated and led MFFPs investment readiness work resulting in successful innovative green/blended approaches to financing nature recovery. Matt has also led MFFPs pioneering collaboration with National Highways achieving outcomes for roads infrastructure resilience through peatland restoration. Matt is a board member of the Great North Bog, a Steering Group member of the IUCN UK Peatland Programme, and is also an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.
