Paul McMahon
Director, Planning and Regulation, Network Rail
Paul is Network Rail’s Director of Planning & Regulation, a role he has held since 2021. He leads regulatory compliance, strategic business planning and future funding engagement with ORR and government. Since joining Network Rail in 2013, he has held various senior roles, including Managing Director for Freight, MD for Wales Route, and MD for the System Operator. He previously worked at the rail regulator, in the water industry and in consultancy.
