Alan is the Deputy Chair of BAG and commercial director at Egis where he supports projects across multiple sectors, including rail and air. He has predominantly worked in advisory across a broad range of transport projects. He has led and delivered projects globally, from the UK to mainland Europe, India and across the Middle East where he lived for over 6 years whilst building the Egis aviation business. Now based in Bristol, he is recognised for driving operational excellence and leading high‑performing teams. He specialises in turning complex challenges into clear, practical solutions that strengthen organisational performance and support long‑term growth.
