Alex is Director of Industry Solutions at Hitachi EMEA, focused on bringing together Hitachi Group capabilities across transportation systems, energy systems and industrial AI to help transport authorities and operators take a whole-system approach to green urban mobility. He has led public and private innovation programmes spanning eBus and EV fleet charging, AI-enabled rail maintenance, shipping decarbonisation and real-time transport systems, and was a founding member of Hitachi ZeroCarbon, Hitachi’s smart-charging and battery lifecycle management venture.
