David Shepherd
Strategic Director of Place, Bradford City Council
David is strategic director for place at Bradford City Council, in which role he oversees key areas including highways, planning, waste management, neighbourhoods and parks and leisure. He was previously director of trade and investment with West Yorkshire Combined Authority, responsible for the planning, delivery and strategic development of inward investment and international trade. Prior to working at the Combined Authority, David led on the economic growth activities at the regional development agency Yorkshire Forward and also worked in the private sector to develop strategic land and marine sites in the UK.
