Harbinder Birdi
Design Champion for Grand Union Water Transfer Project, Affinity Water & Severn Trent
Harbinder is an architect and Creative Director of Birdi & Partners, a London-based consultancy advising on regeneration and major infrastructure projects. He serves as Design Champion for the Grand Union Canal Transfer project and as a Design Council expert advising on schemes including East West Rail, the Lower Thames Crossing and HS2.
Previously, as Head of Infrastructure at Hawkins\Brown, he led the design and delivery of Tottenham Court Road station for the Elizabeth Line and coordinated major station projects including Bond Street and Liverpool Street. A Fellow of the RIBA and ICE, Harbinder champions design excellence across complex transport infrastructure.
