Samer Bagaeen

Samer is Vice President of the Royal Town Planning Institute and Technical Director at Arcadis, leading town planning and stakeholder engagement for major infrastructure projects. A chartered town planner and recognised thought leader, he advises on sustainable development, urban resilience, and policy innovation through roles with the Thames Estuary Growth Board, Homes England, and the Rockefeller Foundation. Samer also serves as an elected independent councillor for Brighton and Hove and has held academic positions at Imperial College London and the University of Kent.
